It Lives, It Lives! I've recently been sent a pre-publication copy of my latest book - Lotus Elan and Plus 2 Source Book. I'm really pleased with it - the implementation of the raw text, pictures and captions I delivered to Veloce is fantastic and the book look really great. Of course, as the author I would say that, but honestly I'm really pleased with the book, its contents and the way Veloce have put it all together.
If you have an Elan or Plus 2, or are planning to buy one then I sincerely believe this book will tell you what you need to know about he car before you buy one or, when you are contemplating your immobile example sitting in your garage - Like my so called roadworthy one is at the moment as I slowly replace its wiring looms (being a Lotus of course there is more than one wiring loom), it will give you some guidance on what to do next! Loads of pictures and information on owning and running an Elan and Plus 2, all based on personal experience and advice from tjhe experts on lotuselan.net. An informative and hopefully entertaining read. And that's my mate Dave's Elan Sprint on the cover!
In the meantime I'm finaising the design of my new garage - SWMBO has been overseeing the final design with the mantra - "that looks like a shed - I don't want a shed" so we've got a garage which doesn't look like a shed. In fact it looks rather smart and should be going up in March next year so watch this space!
