Well, in my last post I said that I thought spring had finally sprung - I was wrong it has been a bit chilly walking the dog in the mornings for the past week! Nice when the suns out though. But I've had lots going on since then - my garage is up, and the Lotus Plus 2 is now tucked up inside it out of the er, sun. Whats more as a bit of a diversion I bought an Aston Martin DB9 last month (thats what comes of writing a book on a particular car - it awakens a need for one!) .

The electrician will be in next Saturday so I'll have light and power in the garage, then I'll crack on with the rewiring of the Plus 2 and get that operational. In the meantime I took the Aston for a once over at the local Aston Martin specialist, Chicane, in Bramshill, a few miles north of me. Had a good going over and they gave it a clean bill of health and its booked in for a service and new Mot Test in July. Final shot of the Aston at Chicane next to a 1980s V8 Volante - very nice!
So an eventful month and hopefully a quieter one in May so I can get on with some oily car work rather than writing!
